Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our financial leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, accounting policies compliance, and continuous finance process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis

Manage all aspects of accounting functions for Canada, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.

Financial Control and Compliance

Responsible for accuracy of General Ledger and Financial Statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and company policies.

Tax and Audit Support

Lead and support on tax reporting, internal and external audits, ensuring seamless execution and compliance.

Process Improvement and Optimization

Work in partnership with business units to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring efficient and effective financial operations.

Collaboration and Leadership

Collaborate with global teams to support internal accounting needs, and lead a Financial Analyst to ensure successful execution of financial tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.
  • At least 6 years of experience in financial accounting, with 3 years of team leadership experience.
  • Experience in public accounting or a similar industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • CPA certification.
