Job Title: Account Manager

At FirstOntario Credit Union Limited, we're seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Services department, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our Business Members, building strong relationships, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and support to Business Members, helping them achieve their financial goals.
  • Manage and administer commercial loans, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Source, credit-write, and review commercial credit files, implementing risk mitigating strategies.
  • Proactively manage credit portfolio reviews, tracking and pursuing annual reporting requirements.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and implement action plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Make solid credit recommendations to supporting departments, including the Credit Department and Management Credit Committee.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Economics, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong business acumen and 4-8 years of experience in Business/Commercial banking or Member-facing and/or Credit adjudication roles.
  • 5+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate underwriting, with Development and Construction underwriting considered an asset.
  • Sales/business development experience in the Commercial banking industry.
