FirstOntario Credit Union Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Sr. Account Manager / Account Manager, Commercial Services.
This role is responsible for delivering exceptional service to our Business Members, building strong relationships, and driving business growth through sales and service initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and guidance to Business Members, helping them achieve their financial goals and objectives.
- Manage and administer commercial loans, ensuring timely and accurate processing, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Source, credit write-up, and review commercial credit files, implementing risk mitigating strategies to minimize potential losses.
- Proactively manage credit portfolio reviews, ensuring timely completion and analysis of annual reporting requirements from Business Members.
- Identify areas of opportunity within sales targets and develop action plans to achieve business objectives.
- Make sound credit recommendations to supporting departments, including the Credit Department, Management Credit Committee, and occasionally to the Board.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration, Commerce, and/or Economics, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong business acumen and 4-8 years of experience in Business/Commercial banking or equivalent roles.
- 5+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate underwriting, with Development and Construction underwriting considered an asset.
- Sales/business development experience in the Commercial banking industry.
