Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and motivate a team of 5-10 employees to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to improve employee performance.
  • Customer Service and Experience
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and have a positive experience in our restaurant.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Operations and Management
    • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, cash handling, and scheduling.
    • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the restaurant is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty.
    • Monitor sales trends and adjust strategies to meet sales goals.
  • Computer and Technology
    • Operate electronic cash registers, point of sale systems, and other technology used in the restaurant.
    • Use MS Office and other software to manage inventory, scheduling, and other restaurant operations.
  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure that all employees are bonded and that all security protocols are followed.
    • Monitor the restaurant's security and safety systems to prevent theft and ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
  • Transportation and Travel
    • Use own transportation to travel to and from work and to make deliveries as needed.
    • Use public transportation as needed.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
    • Stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Be accurate and reliable in all aspects of the job.
    • Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Be a team player and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience and Education
    • Have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
    • Have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
