About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team at Performance Auto Group. As an Automotive Sales Professional, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with clients;
- Meet or exceed sales targets through effective sales strategies and techniques;
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge on manufacturer-specific vehicles and rebate, finance, and incentive programs;
- Work effectively without supervision and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines;
- Participate in factory-sponsored and dealer-specified training classes to enhance skills and knowledge;
- Answer customer service phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner;
- Ensure customer car quotes are competitive and reasonable, and keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicle's delivery;
- Inform customers when vehicles are ready to be picked up and ensure all documents are accurate and complete;
- Comply with strict regulations and requirements of the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC) and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times;
- Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards and comply with all company policies, standards, and procedures.
What You Need to Succeed:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
- Automotive sales experience preferred;
- OMVIC Certification is required;
- Dealer CRM system experience is required;
- Valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record;
- Strong computer skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service and work well under pressure;
- Proven ability to problem-solve and think creatively, with a positive attitude and willingness to be flexible under changing conditions.
Benefits and Compensation:
As an Automotive Sales Professional with Performance Auto Group, you can expect a competitive salary range of $50,000-$90,000 per year, based on knowledge, experience, and commission earnings.
