Job Overview

Midas, a leading provider of automotive repair services, is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our team in St Catharines - Hartzel Road Location. As a trusted advisor, you will oversee all service department activities, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and driving business growth.

Compensation Package
Our competitive compensation package includes a salary range of $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year.

About the Role
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing and directing service teams, with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and sales while listening and consulting with customers
  • Following up with customers on services requested and estimated completion times
  • Overseeing complete vehicle diagnostic inspections and making comprehensive recommendations
  • Creatingsales estimates and promoting shop service specials
  • Leading and training team members while maintaining alignment with company vision and values
  • Supervising sales and service processes
  • Oversight of technicians' diagnostic inspections and repairs
  • Maintaining inventory counts and facility organization

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of store or service manager experience
  • General automotive knowledge and automotive mechanic experience
  • Excellent customer service disposition and communication skills
  • Leadership ability and team-building skills
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule
