We are seeking an HR Business Partner to join our team at ADVENTURE CANADA. In this role, you will be responsible for advising managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in human resources, with a strong understanding of employment law and regulations. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

A competitive salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, based on location and experience. This full-time position offers a permanent contract, with a 30-hour workweek and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales
  • Manage contracts
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  • Oversee development of communication strategies
  • Oversee the preparation of reports
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints
  • Oversee payroll administration
  • Provide customer service
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures
  • Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
  • Assign, co-ordinate, and review projects and programs
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in human resources
  • Strong understanding of employment law and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
