Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of deck freight. This position requires excellent communication skills, initiative, and the ability to adapt to new situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives to book loads and fulfill shipment requirements.
  • Advise clients on products and services, equipment availability, and freight tracking.
  • Build, track, and forward loads for client accounts.
  • Manage day-to-day account operations tasks, such as coordinating loading and unloading times, shipment requirements, and monitoring progress of shipment while enroute.
  • Maintain communication with customers, drivers, employees, and brokers to ensure accurate information on the internal system and efficient shipment.
  • Update and advise clients on tracking loads and answer any questions pertaining to loads.
  • Ensure accurate information is entered into the internal system as per the customer's requirements for billing and invoicing purposes.
Desired Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Business Administrative Certificate preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in an Administrative role
  • Technical ability to use and understand Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft programs as well as the ability to learn company-specific software programs.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to new situations as they arise.
