Job Description

The Senior Immigration and Mobility Specialist will be responsible for building strong foundational programs based on Arc'teryx's values, supporting the growth of our organization globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute global immigration, relocation, and mobility programs with a focus on compliance and efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external immigration partners, new and prospective employees, and leadership to ensure seamless processes.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for smooth immigration and relocation processes, including visa applications, work permits, and employee support.
  • Partner with Senior Leadership to provide strategic mobility solutions for our global workforce.
  • Oversight of concurrent immigration needs and PR applications in partnership with our Immigration council while providing updates to Senior Leaders.
  • Analyze data related to immigration and relocation activities to identify trends and improve processes.
  • Collaborate with People and Culture, legal, and external immigration consultants to ensure all aspects of the programs are legally compliant and effectively managed.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years' experience managing immigration and mobility programs for a global organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as HR, law).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an approachable personality.
  • Effective project management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to remain objective and exercise good judgment, decision making, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal appropriately with sensitive issues.
  • Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions.
  • Able to balance autonomy and collaboration.
  • Flexibility and adaptability when faced with ambiguity.
Compensation

$91,000 - $114,000 per year. A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$91,000 - CAD$114,000 at the time of this posting.
