Salary: $80,000 per year
About the Role
The Global Quality Strategist will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust supplier quality assurance processes, resolving quality issues, and implementing supplier improvement plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical knowledge of ISO standards, exceptional analytical skills, and proven leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a global quality strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
- Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the Quality Management System (QMS) across all operational sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Prepare and present reports on quality metrics and progress against objectives.
- Build and mentor a global team of quality professionals; foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in quality management, including at least 3 years in a global or regional role.
- Quality certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt highly desirable.
- Fluency in Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with our teams and partners in China.
Work Environment
This role may involve international travel to various company sites and supplier locations. The Global Quality Strategist will work in both office and manufacturing environments to ensure global consistency in quality practices.
