We are seeking a highly skilled Global Immigration and Mobility Solutions Expert to join our team at Arc'teryx.

Job Description

This role is responsible for the execution of our global immigration, relocation, and mobility programs. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our external immigration partners, new and prospective employees, and leadership, providing seamless processes for all parties.

  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient immigration and relocation processes, including visa applications, work permits, and employee support.
  • Partner with Senior Leadership to provide strategic mobility solutions for our global workforce.
  • Oversight of concurrent immigration needs and PR applications in partnership with our Immigration council while providing updates to Senior Leaders.
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of data related to immigration and relocation activities to identify trends and improve processes.
  • Work closely with People and Culture, legal, and external immigration consultants to ensure all aspects of the programs are legally compliant and effectively managed.
  • Provide insight, guidance, and recommendations to Senior Leadership and Talent Acquisition on mobility and immigration requirements.
  • Lead training and education on new policies and legal deviations related to immigration and mobility.
  • Research creative solutions to minimize risk, expedite the immigration process, and adhere to industry and governmental standards.
  • Manage the Arc'teryx global immigration and mobility budget.
  • Oversight of reporting immigration and mobility data, ensuring quick access to information and data for stakeholders who need it.
About You

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years' experience managing immigration and mobility programs for a global organization.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as HR, law).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an approachable personality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
  • Effective project management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Able to remain objective and exercise good judgment, decision-making, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and deal appropriately with sensitive issues.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team with a customer-service-focused attitude.
  • Good financial acumen with the ability to manage a budget.
  • Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions.
