Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Autobus Québec Métro 2000 inc. in Quebec City. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative and clerical support to our Branch Manager and team members, ensuring the smooth operation of our company.

Main Responsibilities

  • Verify the validity of driver's licenses and maintain accurate employee files.
  • Create and update employee records, including payroll and benefits information.
  • Process invoices, bank deposits, and other financial transactions.
  • Prepare and issue account-related documents, such as invoices and statements.
  • Solve complex payroll and accounting problems.
  • Respond to customer and supplier inquiries.
  • Assist management in performing their duties.
  • Perform other related clerical tasks, such as word processing, record keeping, and filing.
  • Verify and update RDS books and hours of service.
  • Dispatch school routes and act as an intermediary between the school bus service, School Service Centers, and drivers.

Requirements

  • DEP in secretarial accounting or AEC in accounting and management or DEC in administrative techniques.
  • 2 years of administrative experience.
  • Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to adapt to new software.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken French.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with a variable number of hours per week. The salary is competitive and based on experience.
