Job Description

Liaise with Canada Customs: Establish and maintain relationships with customs officials to ensure smooth clearance of goods.

Manage tariffs, commodities, and customs legislation: Utilize knowledge of tariffs, customs legislation, and commodity classification to minimize costs and ensure compliance.

  • Financial affairs: Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports to support business decisions.
  • Dry cargo space, liquid cargo space, and container cargo space: Manage inventory and optimize storage capacity.

Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with attention to detail: Ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • College/CEGEP education: A degree in a related field such as logistics, international trade, or business administration.
  • 2 years of experience in the field: Proven track record of success in customs brokerage or a related field.
  • Required certifications: Relevant industry certifications such as CEPC or CCAR.
  • Legally able to work in Canada: Must have the necessary authorization to work in Canada.
  • Willing to relocate: Willingness to relocate to an urban area.
