About This RoleThis role is a multifaceted and important position within the Canadian organization, ensuring adherence to legal & compliance standards, internal policies, and ethical practices. The Legal & Compliance Counsel will help ensure Galderma Canada operates within the bounds of the law, maintains high ethical standards, and minimizes the risk of legal or regulatory sanctions.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance of Canadian Affiliate with global standards (e.g. Code of Ethics, global policies, and procedures) as well as local laws and regulations.
- Support review, approval and documentation for local HCP engagement and cross-border activities following relevant policies and procedures, including management of disclosure requirements.
- Conduct regular training sessions to educate employees and management about COI policies, potential conflicts, and their duty to disclose such conflicts.
- Maintain and manage documentation related to compliance activities and regulatory requirements.
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and ensure Galderma complies with relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior through ongoing communication and awareness programs.
- Monitor the implementation of compliance policies and procedures across Galderma Canada.

About Our Compensation PackageThe estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
