As a critical member of Amazon's Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) team, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees. This includes providing expert guidance on WHS policies, conducting site audits to identify potential risks, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EHS and/or environmental programs, with experience in manufacturing, production, or service operations. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and confidence with site leaders and teams.

We are seeking an experienced WHS professional who can lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of local, regional, and federal regulations, as well as Amazon's WHS policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance on WHS policies and procedures to site leaders and teams
  • Conduct site audits to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes
  • Develop and implement department goals and strategies to promote a safe and healthy work environment
  • Analyze WHS metrics and review incident trends to justify the allocation of appropriate resources
