As an Area Manager, you will lead a team of hourly workforce and be responsible for engaging your team during their shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. Our vision and dedication to the customer remain constant, despite slight variations in workflows across different sites.

Key Responsibilities and Job Elements:
  1. Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results.
  2. Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure seamless operations.
  3. Collaborate with support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives.
  4. Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach to perform tasks efficiently.
  5. Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts to maintain productivity.
  6. Work in an environment with varying noise levels and temperatures.
  7. Continuously climb and descend stairs, if applicable.

Our fulfillment network continuously launches new Operations sites, providing opportunities for professional growth. We hire Area Managers based on location preference and business openings.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
  • Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience.
