Customer Service Coordinator, Facilities Services

The Customer Service Coordinator role at EllisDon is a critical position responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and front-line support to multiple facilities across Canada. Key responsibilities include handling inbound service requests, initiating work orders, and ensuring timely fulfillment and resolution of client requests.
As a Customer Service Coordinator, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for receiving and dispatching facilities service requests 24/7. To ensure ongoing performance success, Customer Service Coordinators are measured against high-quality service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn client account system details, CMMS, telephone system, and EDFS policies, processes, and operating procedures.
- Log client requests, creating and dispatching work orders to appropriate facility management resources.
- Accurately capture required information to assign priority levels for timely fulfillment of service requests.
- Effective problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and communicating with facility management resources.
- Provide client service support.
- Participate in program initiatives undertaken by the Business Optimization & Solution Services team.
- Compile, analyze, validate, and transform data from multiple systems using Microsoft Excel analytical features to create reports tailored to the business.
- Support clients by sharing findings based on reporting extracted from multiple systems.
- Maintain confidentiality of client account information and other sensitive information.
- Mentor and train new team members.
- Handle clerical responsibilities, including administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in a customer service role.
- Language proficiency in English, including proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation for clear and effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in French is an asset.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn software used for clients.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
- General knowledge of building systems, construction practices, and building/fire codes is an asset.
