Resident Care Manager Opportunity at AgeCare

AgeCare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Resident Care Manager to join our team.

About the Role:

The Resident Care Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the provision of nursing care within assigned teams. This includes providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management to care staff, as well as conducting ongoing performance management of the nursing care team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the nursing care team to ensure high-quality care is provided to residents.
  2. Develop and implement clinical best practice programs to improve resident outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement operational plans and budgets.
  4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and AgeCare's standards.
  5. Participate in accreditation and corporate initiatives.

Requirements:

  1. RN Diploma or Bachelor's Degree, member in good standing with BCCNM.
  2. 3 years' experience in a leadership role with demonstrated excellence in management, leadership, clinical judgment, and interpersonal skills.
  3. Knowledgeable about current nursing and medical practices and procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines and standards as they relate to Long Term Care and Supportive Living environments.
  4. Experience in caring for clients with dementia.
  5. Regularly demonstrates AgeCare's values.
  6. Capable of working autonomously, independently, and interdependently.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
