We are seeking an experienced Trainer, Health Care Professional Educator to join our team in delivering high-quality training programs for healthcare professionals across British Columbia.

About the Position

The successful candidate will support the organization's capacity to deliver standardized U-First healthcare provider training, enhancing skills and knowledge of person-centered care practices among long-term care workers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing training, coaching, and support to healthcare provider education facilitators">
  • Developing systems and processes for scheduling and monitoring staff participation and progress">
  • Facilitating external train-the-trainer workshops and standardized U-First training for healthcare providers">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will have:

">
  • ">
  • A post-secondary education or relevant degree in healthcare, social work, education, gerontology, or a related field">
  • 3-5 years of experience working within the health or social care sector with people living with dementia and/or their caregivers">
  • Experience in group facilitation, delivering presentations, and education programs">
  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult education best practices and ability to build trusting relationships with community partners and healthcare providers">

Salary and Benefits

">

Our estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on location and experience. Comprehensive benefits package includes 4 weeks' vacation, 2 personal days, and 13 paid public holidays, as well as employee health benefits and a pension plan.
