Evertz is a leading provider of media and entertainment technology solutions. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team.

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our customers in the media and entertainment industry. You will work closely with our engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer systems, electronics, or a related field. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert technical support to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with Evertz hardware and software products
  • Work closely with engineering teams to develop and implement technical solutions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer support
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of network technologies (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Firewalls, Switches)
  • Experience with Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of cloud computing environments (AWS) is an asset
