About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager or Senior Manager to join our dynamic team at KPMG Canada. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading audits and ensuring the correct accounting practices and methodologies are applied to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the audits of our clients, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Participate in the practice group to assist in implementing group business plans and contribute to the development of new business opportunities.
  • Work with members of the practice management group to meet the goals of the assurance financial plan and drive business growth.
  • Counsel, train, and mentor audit staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional results.
  • Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices/methodologies on client engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality audits.
  • Previous experience using ASPE and ASNPO required.
  • Excellent client service skills, with the ability to understand clients' businesses and develop strong relationships.
  • Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service, with a proven background of building a client base and adding revenue.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
