Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Quality Manager to join our team at Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental quality in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify and assess potential hazards and risks in our operations, and develop strategies to mitigate or eliminate them.
  • Lead Safety Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all employees are aware of their safety responsibilities and are equipped to work safely.
  • Investigate Incidents and Near Misses: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and near misses, and develop recommendations to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with employees, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that safety and environmental considerations are integrated into all aspects of our operations.
  • Monitor and Report Safety Performance: Track and analyze safety performance metrics, and report on progress to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and Implement Environmental Programs: Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct Environmental Audits: Conduct regular audits to ensure that our operations are in compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Lead Environmental Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all employees are aware of their environmental responsibilities and are equipped to work in an environmentally responsible manner.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with employees, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that environmental considerations are integrated into all aspects of our operations.
  • Monitor and Report Environmental Performance: Track and analyze environmental performance metrics, and report on progress to senior management and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, safety management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety or environmental role, with a strong background in risk management and compliance.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
