HSEQ Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Quality Manager to join our team at Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental quality in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies: Create and maintain comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Conduct Risk Assessments and Audits: Identify and assess potential hazards and risks in our operations, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Provide Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all employees understand their health, safety, and environmental responsibilities and are equipped to perform their jobs safely and efficiently.
• Investigate Incidents and Near Misses: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with employees, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure that health, safety, and environmental standards are met and exceeded.
• Monitor and Report Performance: Track and report on health, safety, and environmental performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, safety management, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a health, safety, and environmental role, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
