Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at NPA WorldWide. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day production operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and driving process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the manufacture of products, ensuring compliance with safety, production outputs, productivity, and quality standards.
- Organize and manage departmental teams to achieve operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement integrated solutions to achieve rapid, sustainable cost savings through operating efficiencies.
- Identify employee training needs and oversee the training of employees in the use of new equipment, procedures, and production techniques.
- Review and adjust workforce activities, task schedules, and assignments to meet established production schedules and plans.
- Ensure a healthy and safe work environment, complying with relevant regulations, and collaborating with H&S staff.
- Conduct regular 5S audits and champion a positive labor relations culture.
- Participate in incident investigations and reviews as needed.
- Assist the COO with long-range operating goals and the implementation of new technologies and expansion efforts.
- Work with the COO to develop the operating budget and provide input to upper management regarding purchases, layout, use, and maintenance of equipment and machinery.
- Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certificate an asset.
- 10+ years of manufacturing sector experience up to upper management level.
- Demonstrated process improvement experience.
- Excellent process analysis and change management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Experience with MRP Software, MS Excel.
- Good communication, verbal, and written skills in English.
- Effective use of time management and goal setting initiatives.
We are a busy, well-established company offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The salary range for this position is CA$130,000 - CA$150,000 per year, paid in CAD.
