We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager or Senior Manager to join our dynamic team at KPMG Canada. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading audits and ensuring the correct accounting practices and methodologies are applied to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the audits of our clients, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Participate in the practice group to assist in implementing group business plans and contribute to the development of audit strategies.
- Work with members of the practice management group to meet the goals of the assurance financial plan and drive business growth.
- Counsel, train, and mentor audit staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional results.
- Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices/methodologies on client engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm, with a proven track record of leading audits and managing teams.
- Previous experience using ASPE and ASNPO required.
- Excellent client service skills, with the ability to understand clients' businesses and develop strong relationships.
- Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service, with a commitment to excellence.
- Proven background of building a client base and adding revenue, with a strong understanding of business development strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Strong team player with meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
