Business Development Representative

About the Role
Adecco Canada is currently seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively address customer inquiries and concerns to ensure exceptional satisfaction
* Create and present formal quotes based on customer RFQs, including pricing and delivery timelines
* Review and verify customer orders for accuracy, ensuring all requirements are met
* Utilize online systems to retrieve customer orders, with experience in Oracle considered an asset
* Input and manage customer orders in our MRP system, ensuring accurate sales order creation
* Collaborate on new product forms and prepare customs paperwork for shipments as needed
* Provide occasional reception coverage and support for invoicing
* Perform various administrative tasks, including filing and scanning, to support the sales process
Requirements:
* Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
* Minimum one year of sales or customer service experience; inside sales experience is preferred
* Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
* Professional demeanor with outstanding interpersonal skills
* Proven organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills and responsiveness to client needs
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Knowledge of production planning is an asset
* Must complete a security assessment to qualify under Canada's Controlled Goods Program
