Job Title: Financial Aid Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Aid Officer to join our team at North American Trade Schools. As a key member of our student services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial aid processes and providing exceptional support to our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and review new administrative procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations and institutional policies.
  • Delegate tasks to office support staff and establish work priorities to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records and coordinate office services such as accommodation, relocation, and equipment.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Perform data entry and train staff on new systems and procedures.
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, resolve conflict situations, and monitor and evaluate processes.
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience or equivalent experience.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage time effectively.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and adaptability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
