About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Host/Hostess to join our team at Sensei by Nobu. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, ensuring a positive first impression of the restaurant.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements, utilizing Open Table to optimize table allocation.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and daily specials, to make informed recommendations to guests.
- Work closely with servers to ensure efficient service and maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English is required.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury resort or fine dining establishment.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid work authorization for the U.S.
