About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional service, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience.
  • Manage the host stand, review the reservation book, and make recommendations for table sections' setup.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of each section of the restaurants, make necessary improvements, and check each table before opening to ensure it is properly set up.
  • Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients, and restaurant information.

Requirements:

  • One to two years of previous experience in a Food & Beverage outlet, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
  • Strong communication skills and a warm, welcoming demeanor.
  • Administrative skills and a working knowledge of open table are beneficial.
  • Strong command of the English language and excellent commitment to service and teamwork.
  • Must have a current Serving it Right certificate and be able to work in Canada.

Schedule & Hours:

We operate 24/7, 365 days a year, and expect our service staff to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
