Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Field Sales Representative, where you'll have the chance to develop and nurture client relationships, coach and train vendors and retail associates, and contribute to the success of our home appliance brand.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Client Liaison: Manage day-to-day interactions with clients at a retail level, ensuring their needs are met and exceeding their expectations.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with retailers, understanding their business goals and developing strategies to drive sales growth.
  • Sales Coaching: Provide guidance and support to Sales Representatives, helping them achieve sales targets and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Training and Development: Deliver training sessions to retailer staff, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively promote and sell our products.
  • Market Analysis: Gather market insights and trends, identifying opportunities to improve product perception and drive sales growth.
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and facilitate training and launch meetings, ensuring all stakeholders have the necessary product knowledge and training.
  • Stock Management: Ensure stock levels meet demand, reporting back to ensure timely restocking and minimizing losses.
  • Marketing Support: Collaborate with Marketing teams to maintain direct contact with sales points in the market, supporting initiatives that drive brand awareness and sales growth.
  • Issue Resolution: Address issues affecting brand integrity and presence, ensuring swift resolution and minimizing negative impacts on our reputation.
  • Performance Feedback: Provide regular feedback to Regional Field Managers and clients, highlighting areas for improvement and celebrating successes.
  • Go-to-Market Planning: Contribute to the development of Go-to-Market plans and promotional activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs.
  • Promotional Materials: Set up promotional materials and support dealers through incentive events and programs, driving sales growth and customer engagement.
  • Brand Strategy: Offer strategic input to leverage the client brand, identifying opportunities to improve brand perception and drive sales growth.
  • Merchandising Execution: Ensure effective merchandising execution across all channels, optimizing product display and maximizing sales potential.
  • Trade Show Events: Participate in trade show events as needed, delivering training and providing product expertise to attendees.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas and build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Tech Savviness: Demonstrate ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, using software programs and tools to streamline work processes.
  • Software Proficiency: Have experience using various software programs and tools, such as CRM systems, productivity software, and data analysis tools.
  • Education and Experience: Hold a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, preferably in sales, marketing, or business administration. Recent graduates with relevant studies are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Sales Experience: Possess sales experience in the home appliance sector, preferably in a manufacturer or retail setting. Consumer electronics experience is also an asset.
  • Training and Motivation: Proven experience in training and motivating sales teams to meet or exceed performance objectives, with a track record of success in sales-driven environments.
  • Travel Requirements: Be available to travel within the market, with a willingness to spend time on the road and interact with clients and colleagues in person.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
