We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Oliver Bonacini Cafe Grill in Blue Mountain.

About the Job

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires the candidate to have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.

Job Description
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • They will also need to prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Additionally, they will be required to prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
  • Other responsibilities include inspecting kitchens and food service areas, training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, ordering supplies and equipment, supervising kitchen staff and helpers, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and cleaning kitchen and work areas.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • The Executive Chef must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be physically demanding.
  • They must also be able to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
  • Furthermore, they must be able to work under pressure and have excellent oral communication skills.

Benefits
  • We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
