About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Oliver Bonacini Cafe Grill - Blue Mountain. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and preparation
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new recipes and menu items

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
