Drafting Specialist

X&H Construction and Renovation is seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, developing design sketches, and preparing construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate and detailed engineering designs and drawings
- Develop and prepare design sketches to visualize project concepts
- Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates to ensure project feasibility
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements
- Lead and instruct groups to achieve project goals
You will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure. You must be able to sit for extended periods, stand for extended periods, and walk. You will also need to have excellent attention to detail, sound discrimination, and the ability to distinguish between colors.
Requirements- College/CEGEP education
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Organized and a team player
- Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week
The primary language of work is English.
