About the Role

X&H Construction and Renovation is seeking a skilled Drafting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, developing design sketches, and preparing construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and detailed engineering designs and drawings
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and presentations
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements
  • Lead and instruct groups to achieve project goals
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors
  • Prepare contracts and tenders
  • Write technical reports and specifications
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Complete documentation packages and drawing sets
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and be able to work under pressure. You will be required to handle heavy loads, have attention to detail, and be able to distinguish between colors and sounds.

Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work 30-40 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
