Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Drafting Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, reading blueprints to determine work requirements, and developing and preparing design sketches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting: Prepare engineering designs and drawings, and develop and prepare design sketches to meet project requirements.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accuracy in design and drafting.
  • Estimation and Costing: Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates to support project planning and execution.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare contracts, tenders, technical reports, and documentation packages to meet project and company requirements.
  • Quality Control: Examine drawings for conformity and errors to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Consulting firm.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
