Drafting Specialist

X&H Construction and Renovation is seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join our team. As a Draftsperson, you will play a crucial role in preparing engineering designs and drawings, developing design sketches, and preparing construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Drafting: Prepare engineering designs and drawings, develop and prepare design sketches, and complete documentation packages and drawing sets.
- Specifications and Estimates: Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates, and write technical reports and specifications.
- Client Communication: Consult with clients, engineers, or production specialists to establish product requirements and lead/instruct groups as needed.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and handle heavy loads while maintaining attention to detail and sound discrimination.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
