About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Drafting Technician to join our team at Tarra Engineering and Structural Consultants Inc. as an Engineering Design Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting: Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings for construction projects, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Blueprint Analysis: Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Design Development: Develop and prepare design sketches, construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.
  • Documentation: Prepare contracts, tenders, and technical reports, as well as complete documentation packages and drawing sets.
  • Quality Control: Examine drawings for conformity and errors, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week. The language of work is English.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a consulting firm.
