About the Role

X&H Construction and Renovation is seeking a skilled Drafting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, as well as developing and preparing design sketches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and develop detailed engineering designs and drawings
  • Develop and prepare design sketches, including concept and detailed designs
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates
  • Prepare contracts and tenders, ensuring all necessary details are included
  • Write technical reports and specifications, clearly outlining project requirements
  • Estimate costs and materials, ensuring accurate and efficient project planning
  • Complete documentation packages and drawing sets, ensuring all necessary information is included
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors, ensuring high-quality output
  • Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements and ensure project success
  • Lead and instruct groups, providing guidance and support as needed
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure
  • Handle heavy loads and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Have excellent attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors
