About the Role:

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive growth and revenue within your assigned portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets within assigned portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including dealer/distributor salespeople and buyers.
  • Utilize all available resources to establish brand awareness and drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and develop solutions to drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • College degree with a focus on sales and business functions preferred.
  • Minimum three years' experience in a sales role within the foodservice industry.
  • Past experience working with both equipment and smallwares items within the foodservice industry, preferred.
  • Working with street-level sales representatives all the way up to executive decision-makers with both dealers and end-users.
Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent ability to prioritize and follow up.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to set goals and develop and carry out plans to achieve them.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving, work independently, and take initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Word, Dynamics, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Excel.
  • Be professional in appearance and conduct in representing the Vollrath Company.
