About the Job Description

This job description outlines the key responsibilities and requirements for the Senior Data Analyst position at Export Development Canada (EDC).

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and recommending conceptual, logical, and physical data models, understanding client requirements, and converting them into technical terms/user stories.

The role involves working closely with stakeholders to develop solution approaches, research and document data platform and outputs, analyze, cleanse, and enrich data elements, and support data governance activities to ensure data integrity.

Key qualifications include an undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, and minimum 7 years of experience as a dedicated Data Analyst or Data Modeler.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data management domains, such as dimensional and relational data modeling, data quality, SQL programming, ETL development, metadata management, and master data management.
