Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandise Associate to join our team at Reitmans. As a Merchandise Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores by processing and organizing merchandise upon delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide an Exceptional Customer Experience: Ensure that customers have a positive and seamless shopping experience by maintaining a well-organized store environment.
  • Merchandise Processing and Organization: Process and organize merchandise upon delivery, ensuring that it is accurately received, stored, and displayed in a timely manner.
  • Visual Presentation and Display: Assist the team in creating visually appealing store displays and maintaining a consistent visual merchandising standard.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies to the Store Manager.
Requirements
  • Previous Retail Experience: Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a merchandise or sales role.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate processing and organization of merchandise.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder, and move, lift, and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store.
  • Availability: Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
