Job Title: Commercial Insurance Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team at Condominium Insurance Solutions. As a key member of our commercial lines team, you will be responsible for managing a book of business, servicing clients, and assisting producers in obtaining and maintaining business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a renewal book of business and work closely with producers and other staff to provide exceptional client service and marketing support.
  • Initiate account planning with producers 100 days in advance of renewals and maintain a retention rate of 95% or higher.
  • Provide same-day response times to clients and business partners, and collaborate with producers to create comprehensive plans for existing clients.
  • Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads, and contribute to meeting departmental production goals.
  • Prepare proposals for prospect and stewardship reviews, and manage account documentation, including routine inquiries, quotes, and insurance contracts.
  • Review client coverage and exposures, loss experience, and analyze risk to determine product/service requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date EPIC workflow documentation and ensure workflows are followed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely servicing and billing of accounts, and participate in cross-sell campaigns and other initiatives as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial insurance experience required.
  • R.I.B.O. license required.
  • C.I.P. or C.A.I.B. designation(s) preferred.
  • Solid understanding of policy wordings/coverages.
  • Ability to mentor others and proven negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to be a self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills and organizational skills.
  • Advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, and EPIC.
