Position Overview: We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive to enhance our vibrant team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Commercial Lines Leader and Producers to ensure timely completion of all renewals, including participation in meetings.
  • Assist in the renewal process for all assigned and prospective clients alongside the producer, which includes obtaining updated loss information, managing renewal applications, and preparing renewal proposals and binders.
  • Review and document compliance and client disclosure requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of client expectations and legal obligations.
  • Oversee administrative tasks such as issuing certificates of insurance and processing policies and endorsements.
  • Draft and finalize accurate marketing proposals for clients.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and carriers to enhance client retention.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of insurance products within the Commercial Lines sector.
  • Engage in daily communications with insurance carriers.
  • Address inquiries and complaints related to claims resolution, acting as a liaison for assigned accounts.
  • Conduct research and provide timely responses to client inquiries.
  • Support Producers with new business initiatives and the onboarding of newly assigned accounts.
  • Participate in departmental service meetings.
  • Contribute to the training and development of team members.
  • Assist in expanding the assigned book of business through account rounding and referrals.
  • Adhere to agency guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Commercial Lines department at an agency or company level is preferred.
  • Proficient in a Windows environment with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A valid RIBO License is required.
  • Insurance designation is strongly preferred.
