Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Deployment and Support: Deploy and support our network and communications infrastructure, collaborating with other IT support teams to ensure timely resolution of support issues.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Security and Compliance: Oversee monitoring and remediation of endpoint security issues, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Backup and Recovery: Design and implement backup and recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
  • IT Support and Escalation: Act as a point of escalation for our service desk staff, providing technical expertise and support.
  • Infrastructure Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform maintenance and systems upgrades to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document infrastructure changes and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience working as a network/systems administrator.
  • Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree in IT, computer science, or other relevant education.
  • Skills: Exceptional troubleshooting skills, solid understanding of IT security and data integrity, strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Other: Legally allowed to work in Canada.
