Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at Subway Sandwiches and Salads. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service Delivery: Ensure that our customers receive prompt and courteous service, and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Food Quality: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to our customers in a clean and safe environment.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train a team of 3-4 employees, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standard.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that we have sufficient stock of all necessary supplies and ingredients.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that our restaurant meets all health and safety regulations, and that our employees are aware of and comply with these regulations.
  • Marketing: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, ensuring that our restaurant is promoted effectively and that our customers are aware of our products and services.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
