About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction General Manager to join our team at SWIFT MECHANICAL SERVICES INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of construction professionals to achieve project goals and objectives.
    • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve project efficiency and productivity.
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
    • Coordinate and oversee the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Financial Management
    • Establish and manage financial and administrative controls to ensure projects are completed within budget.
    • Formulate and approve promotional campaigns to increase revenue and market share.
  • Human Resources
    • Select and develop middle managers, directors, or other executive staff to ensure the organization has the necessary skills and expertise to achieve its goals.
    • Delegate authority and create optimum working conditions to ensure the success of the organization.
  • Communication and Representation
    • Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions to ensure the organization's interests are represented.
    • Delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization in official functions.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as construction management, engineering, or business administration.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a construction management role.
    • Permanent employment with a reputable organization.
    • Fluent in English language.
    • Ability to work 32 hours per week.

The Construction General Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.
