About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction General Manager to join our team at 1570823 ONTARIO INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, including allocating resources, setting priorities, and making informed decisions.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring they meet the required standards, timelines, and budgets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with construction projects, ensuring the company's assets and reputation are protected.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure seamless project delivery and maintain strong relationships.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or business.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a construction management role, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of construction professionals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks. Proficient in construction management software and tools, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
