Job Responsibilities

Account Executive in our Sales Department:

  • Develop and execute territory and account plans to analyze and forecast spend patterns of assigned customers, ensuring quota attainment.
  • Expand network of contacts within assigned accounts, engaging with senior leaders and executives to drive business growth.
  • Generate new license revenue within assigned accounts by understanding current business problems, building knowledge of RJR solutions, and delivering strategic product messages.
  • Increase spend rate and revenue per account through effective sales strategies.
  • Occasional out-of-town travel may be required.
  • Adjust sales presentations by studying customers' historical sales or needs, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
  • Focus sales efforts by analyzing existing and potential customers, identifying key opportunities.
  • Submit orders by referencing price lists and product literature, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Keep management informed through regular activity and results reports, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and quarterly sales forecasts.
  • Produce and submit written proposals and quotations, utilizing standard rates and pricing parameters.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and marketing techniques.
  • Recommend changes in products, services, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Prepare customers' personnel, contractors, and other trade factors with product knowledge and selling skills through sales promotion and educational meetings.
  • Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of all company products and services available to customers.

    Job Requirements, Essential

    • Fluent bilingualism in French and English is required.
    • A diploma or certificate in post-secondary education or equivalent experience is necessary.
    • Able to adapt style to the situation and parties.
    • Mature approach, focusing on areas and clients that yield the greatest return for RJR and deliver the greatest value for the client.
    • Works independently and is highly self-motivated.
    • Has the mental agility to handle multiple tasks and large accounts.
    • Strong analytical, financial, conceptual, and strategic thinking skills are required.
    • Bias for action, eliminating obstacles to secure an order while understanding client drivers and politics.
    • Able to fully articulate, understand, and deliver strategic product messages.
    • Leverages internal processes, understanding their challenges and limitations.
    • Comprehensive understanding of the client's decision-making process and procurement process.
    • Able to report reliable data by auditing the flow of data, developing check points, and controlling credibility of company data.
    • Create and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports.
    • Issue periodic statistical reports of a general and/or specialized nature.
    • Demonstrate the ability to properly forecast in achieving corporate financial goals aligned with corporate objectives.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, enabling the candidate to build positive relationships and work with all levels of staff and clientele.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and detail-oriented.
    • Strong professional image.
