Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Operations Manager to lead our Shared Services team at Ardene. As a key member of our Payroll team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic vision to support our overall corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to drive Shared Services excellence and support business growth.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of HR Shared Services and Payroll, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results.
  • Coach, train, and develop Shared Services team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Promote a collaborative and motivating work environment that fosters open communication and teamwork.
  • Develop and analyze reports to measure and improve Shared Services performance, identifying areas for process improvements and implementing changes as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize Shared Services efficiency and productivity, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage and supervise HRIS configuration and integration projects, as well as other projects as required, to drive business value and growth.
  • Develop communications and training materials in collaboration with the Internal Communications Department to promote Shared Services and HRIS initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Five (5) years' experience in payroll, with a strong background in strategic operations and team leadership.
  • College diploma or advanced studies in a related field, such as business administration or human resources.
  • Experience in retail is an asset, with knowledge of payroll systems, such as Ceridian Dayforce.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English and French.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required, with the ability to communicate in Spanish an asset.
