About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software development leader to join our team at Boston Scientific Gruppe. As a Senior Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of our cutting-edge medical device software.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a team of software engineers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, systems engineering, QA, hardware, and regulatory to understand requirements and bring the best solutions forward.
  3. Architect and design software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  4. Develop and implement software development methodologies and best practices to improve team efficiency and productivity.
  5. Partner with other teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and ensure timely delivery of software solutions.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in leading software development teams and managing software development projects.
  2. Strong technical background in software engineering, with expertise in C++, Linux, networking, and cybersecurity.
  3. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  4. Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with medical device software development and regulatory compliance.
  2. Knowledge of software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
  3. Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment.
